Meeting of the EU Council Working Party on e-Justice

On the 30th of June 2016 the EU Council Working Party on e-Justice met in Brussels in the framework of the ‘cooperation mechanism’: a yearly meeting between the Working Party and high representatives of national and European associations of judiciaries, notaries, lawyers, mediators, bailiffs and other legal professions.

ECLI was one of the agenda items: the European Commission presented the ECLI Search Engine, and the BO-ECLI project gave an overview of the current state of play regarding the national implementations and on the objectives of the BO-ECLI project.

As access to court decisions is of the utmost importance for legal professionals, the developments on ECLI were warmly welcomed by all.
