ECLI Search Engine live

On 4 May 2016 the ECLI Search Engine on the European e-Justice Portal went live. With this milestone an important step has been taken in the implementation and use of the European Case Law Identifier. As from the start the ECLI search contains nearly 4 million decisions from the Court of Justice of the European Union, the European Patent Office, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Germany, the Czech Republic, Finland and the JuriFast database of the Association of Councils of State and Supreme Administrative Jurisdictions.

Decisions can be searched by ECLI, metadata and full-text. Deeplinks to any decision in the ECLI Search Engine can be constructed as:
